The St. Cloud Apollo boys basketball team defeated Little Falls three times last season on its way to the state tournament.

No longer in the same conference or section, the Flyers made the most out of the team’s lone meeting of this season, Tuesday, plowing past the Eagles 82-62.

Junior Collin Eckman led a balanced offensive attack with 20 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Senior Matt Valentine posted 18 points and eight rebounds, junior Jake Scott had 15 points and five rebounds and junior Josh Wenzel had 14 points and five assists.

Senior Tom Smith, junior Travis Spillum and sophomore Troy Scott added four points apiece, while senior Grant Bell had three points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

Senior Darin Fellbaum navigates his way into the paint in the first half of Tuesday's 82-62 win for the Flyers.

It was the seventh win in a row for Little Falls.

Little Falls plays at Foley, Friday.
