Girls Basketball: Mustangs top Flyers in match-up of GRC unbeatens

In a match-up of unbeaten Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) girls basketball teams, Mora edged Little Falls 56-47, Tuesday.
The host Mustangs sank 14-of-18 free throws to pull away from the Flyers down the stretch.
Senior Whitney Weisz and junior Jamie Jenks accounted for the bulk of Little Falls’ offense, combining for 30 points.
Weisz had seven rebounds, five blocks and three steals, while Jenks added six rebounds and three steals.
Senior Jennifer Hortness scored six points and grabbed four rebounds and senior Mariah Burns posted five points and five rebounds.
Seniors Jessica Hanowski and Makayla Jorgensen and sophomore Jennifer Ronning each added two points.
Little Falls hosts Rocori, Thursday.
