Girls Hockey: Moorhead erases early deficit to defeat Flying Warriors

Senior Zoe Wolhart struck on a power play midway through the first period, Tuesday, giving the Brainerd-Little Falls girls hockey team a 1-0 lead at the first intermission.
However, Moorhead came back with two goals late in the second and four more in the third, handing the Flying Warriors a 6-1 setback.
Junior Maren Brown picked up an assist on Wolhart’s goal.
Senior goaltender Jodi Bertrand turned away 38 shots.
The Flying Warriors return to the ice Thursday, with a game against Grand Rapids in Brainerd.
