Girls Basketball: Kimball turns back Royals

The Royalton girls basketball team couldn’t shake off the rust after a 12-day layoff, falling to Kimball Area 53-26, Tuesday.

Senior Megan Wiener led the Royals with six points and four rebounds.

Junior Kandy Meyer had five points and four rebounds and junior Kalee Petron posted four points and six rebounds.

Seniors Erika Zimmerman (3), Kelsey Petron (2), Allison Popp (2) and Bridget Tschida (2) and sophomore Emily Fussy (2) rounded out the scoring.

Royalton plays at Browerville, Thursday.
