Boys Hockey: Flyers shut out Northern Lakes for sixth win in a row

Six different players scored as the Little Falls boys hockey team topped Northern Lakes 6-0, Thursday.

Gregory and Majerle tallied goals in the first period, giving the Flyers a 2-0 lead.

That would remain the score after two periods, before Little Falls scored in bunches in the third.

Junior Alex Nelson and Newman scored only 22 seconds apart early in the period, before Hanowski and Bjorge found the back of the net just 40 seconds apart to put the game away late.

Hanowski added three assists to lead the Flyers with four points.

Majerle added two assists and Nelson, Newman, Fenske and junior August Maciej each tacked on one.

The Flyers possessed a staggering 59-14 shot advantage over Northern Lakes in the game.

Stumpf once again made 14 saves in net to record the win and his second shutout in a row.

It was the fourth shutout of the season for the Flyers.

Little Falls plays at St. Cloud Tech, Tuesday.
