Girls Basketball: Weisz, Ploof guide Flyers over Falcons

Senior Whitney Weisz had a double-double and senior Annie Ploof added 13 points to lead the Little Falls girls basketball team past Foley 62-53, Tuesday.

Weisz scored 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Flyers improved to 3-1 in Granite Ridge Conference action.

Junior Jamie Jenks followed with eight points and three steals.

Seniors Mariah Burns and Jessica Hanowski and sophomore Jennifer Ronning each added at least four points and six rebounds.

Little Falls hosts St. Cloud Tech, Friday.
