Boys Basketball: Flyers crush Mora for ninth win in a row

It was another lopsided Granite Ridge Conference match-up for the Little Falls boys basketball team, Tuesday, as the Flyers pounded Mora 87-55.

Junior Collin Eckman led the scoring with 19 points, with junior Josh Wenzel (15), sophomore Troy Scott (14) and senior Matt Valentine (13) also reaching double figures.

Juniors Jake Scott (7), Joe Kornbaum (6) and Spencer Lubbers (4), seniors Aaron Hallberg (3), Grant Bell (2) and Tom Smith (2) and junior Travis Spillum (2) also scored for the Flyers.

Valentine posted a double-double with a team-high 11 rebounds and Bell passed out 15 assists.

Little Falls returns to the court Saturday with a home game against Section 8AAA foe Thief River Falls.

The Flyers will enter the game with a 9-1 record, while the Prowlers are 8-3.
