Boys Basketball: Flyers dominate Thief River Falls 86-68

The Little Falls boys basketball team rattled off its 10th win in a row with a dominant 86-68 win over Section 8AAA opponent Thief River Falls, Saturday.

Matt Valentine controlled the paint to guide the Flyers, scoring 24 points and hauling in 14 rebounds for a double-double.

Troy Scott joined Valentine in double figures with 11 points, nine of which came on a trio of three-point shots.

Josh Wenzel had nine points, Collin Eckman had eight and Spencer Lubbers posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Thief River Falls entered the game tied for the second-best record in the section, behind the Flyers.
