Girls Basketball: Tech hands Flyers 72-36 setback

The St. Cloud Tech girls basketball team shot 8-of-14 from downtown to defeat Little Falls 72-36, Friday.

Tech led 37-23 at halftime before pulling away in the second half by outscoring the Flyers 35-13.

Senior Whitney Weisz led the Flyers in scoring with 18 points while also pulling down seven rebounds.

Senior Mariah Burns followed with six points and seniors Jennifer Hortness and Annie Ploof each added four, with Ploof dishing out three assists.

Little Falls hosts Sauk Rapids-Rice, Tuesday.
