Girls Basketball: Huskers break out in second half, topple BBE

After being tied 19-19 at halftime, Holdingford broke out with a big second half, leading to a 54-39 win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (BBE), Friday.
Sophomore Jodi Middendorf scored 12 points and junior Haley Huls had 10 points, six rebounds and four steals to lead the Huskers.
Junior Jena Volkers added nine points and sophomore Joelle Ertl provided a second-half spark, scoring all eight of her points in the final 18 minutes.
Holdingford hosts Royalton tonight in a non-conference game.
