Girls Basketball: Pierz improves to 4-1 in CMC with road win at Maple Lake

Four players reached double figures and three others scored at least six points, leading the Pierz girls basketball team to a 78-69 win at Maple Lake, Friday.

Junior Alyssa Boser led the scoring with 17 points and added 12 rebounds to post a double-double.

Senior Lisa Langer and sophomore Bridget Bednar each had 13 points, while senior Lindsay Monson had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Juniors Megan Boser (8), Elizabeth Tomala (7) and Michaela Rocheleau (6) and sophomore Tiara Hopkins (2) rounded out the scoring for Pierz.

The Pioneers improved to 4-1 in Central Minnesota Conference (CMC) play with the win.

Pierz hosts Osakis tonight in a non-conference match-up.
