Boys Hockey: Flyers shut out Mora 7-0

Despite not scoring their first goal until 10:38 into the game, the Little Falls boys hockey team still managed to strike four times in the first period, Tuesday, leading to a 7-0 road win at Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson.
Junior Austin Bjorge tallied the first goal shorthanded before senior Michael Holthaus, junior Luke Majerle and senior Joey Hanowski added first-period goals.
Junior Alex Nelson made it 5-0 early in the second period before junior Ben Newman picked up a power-play goal and a shorthanded goal to cap the scoring.
Junior Matt Stumpf recorded a team-high three assists for Little Falls.
Senior Mitch Gregory, junior Nathan Adamietz and Hanowski each added two.
Little Falls hosts Sartell-St. Stephen, Thursday.
