Morrison County District Court

The following people, charged with a gross misdemeanor or misdemeanor level crime in Morrison County District Court, have recently been sentenced:

Gross misdemeanors

• Ridge Douglas Olson, 23, Little Falls; (offense: 7/11/11) purchase liquor/sell/barter/furnish/give to under/21 year old, fined $985, sentenced to 45 days in jail and supervised probation for two years.

• Nicholas Joseph Wittman, 25, Little Falls; (offense: 7/8/11) driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety, fined $585, sentenced to 90 days in jail and supervised probation for two years; one gross misdemeanor count of uninsured vehicle – driver violation – no sentence pronounced; one misdemeanor count of open bottle, no sentenced pronounced and one count of misdemeanor count of animal ordinance – unlawful to mistreat animals, fined: $50.

• Jory Kenneth Meyer, 30,  Rice; (offense: 11/3/11) DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $985, sentenced to 45 days in jail and supervised probation for six years. Dismissed against Meyer was one count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Paul Arthur Ausland, 31, Pillager; (offense: 3/17/11) financial transaction card fraud, fined $385, sentenced to 30 days in jail and supervised probation for two years.

Misdemeanors

• Pamela Jean Waldvogel, 44, Little Falls; (offense: 7/10/11) DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $565, sentenced to one day in jail and supervised probation for two years. Dismissed against Waldvogel was one gross misdemeanor count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Mark Henry Booth, 51, Royalton; (offense: 10/28/11) DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, fined $565, sentenced to four days in jail and supervised probation for two years. Dismissed against Waldvogel were two gross misdemeanor counts of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Kyle Scott Phillips, 19, Wyoming; (offense: 11/16/11) liquor – consumption by persons under 21, fined $185, and sentenced to supervised probation for one year.

• Zachary Michael Rian, 25, Cold Spring; (offense: 10/18/11) DWI – operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, fined $560, sentenced to 45 days in jail and supervised probation for two years. Dismissed against Rian was one misdemeanor count of DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
