Boys Basketball: Little Falls blasts Princeton to remain perfect in GRC

Led by junior Josh Wenzel with 19 points, the Little Falls boys basketball team ran all over host Princeton, Friday, winning 83-53.

Seniors Matt Valentine (14) and Tom Smith (13) joined Wenzel in double figures, with Smith distributing four assists.

Also contributing to Little Falls’ well-rounded offense were sophomore Troy Scott (9), juniors Collin Eckman (7), Spencer Lubbers (7), Travis Spillum (4), Joe Kornbaum (3) and Jake Scott (3) and seniors Grant Bell (2) and Darin Fellbaum (2).

Bell added eight rebounds, six assists and five steals and Spillum grabbed six boards.

The Flyers improved to 5-0 in Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) play with the win.

Little Falls travels to Sauk Rapids-Rice tonight for a non-conference match-up.
