Boys Basketball: Pfeiffer, Kruzel reach double figures, but Johnnies pull away from Bulldogs in second half

The Swanville boys basketball team went on an 8-0 run late in the first half to close within single digits at halftime, but a strong second half of shooting by St. John’s Prep helped them pull away 80-46, Friday.

Senior Derek Pfeiffer scored 11 points, junior Colten Kruzel had 10 and freshman Jordan Sales added nine to lead Swanville on offense.

Juniors Austin Mollner (6) and Tren Dinus (3), sophomores Cody Mollner (3) and Aaron Miller (2) and junior Zach Holtz (2) also scored for the Bulldogs.

Swanville hosts Browerville tonight in a Prairie Conference match-up.
