Girls Basketball: Detroit Lakes edges Flyers 60-54

The Little Falls girls basketball team dropped a narrow non-conference match-up, Saturday, falling 60-54 at Detroit Lakes.

Senior Whitney Weisz scored 17 points and hauled in eight rebounds and senior Annie Ploof recorded 10 points and four assists to lead Little Falls.

Junior Jamie Jenks followed with nine points, while seniors Mariah Burns (7), Jessica Hanowski (5) and Makayla Jorgensen (4) and sophomore Jennifer Ronning (2) rounded out the scoring.

Burns passed out a team-high seven assists and Hanowski led the Flyers with 10 rebounds.

Little Falls hosts Granite Ridge Conference foe St. Cloud Cathedral tonight.
