Girls Basketball: Evans scores 24, Barthel adds 11 as Swanville jolts Johnnies

Junior Marissa Evans scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds to help the Swanville girls basketball team hold off St. John’s Prep 59-44, Thursday.

Junior Tiffany Barthel had 11 points and five assists, sophomore Nikki Primus picked up eight points and nine rebounds and junior Abbey Schultz added seven points and five rebounds.

Seniors Lexi Loven (5) and Molly Jordan (2) and junior Rachel Muhlenkamp (2) also scored.

Swanville plays at Osakis tonight.
