Girls Basketball: Pelzer drains 30 as Upsala cruises past Sebeka

Junior Aimee Pelzer scored 30 points as the Upsala girls basketball team passed another Section 5A test, Friday, breezing past Sebeka 76-58.

Pelzer went 6-of-7 from beyond the arc and dished out 10 assists to lead the Cardinals offensively.

She was joined in double figures by junior Tracy Herzog, who scored 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds, and senior Kimmy Mrozek, who accumulated 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Seniors Dawn Evoniuk, Donna Ripplinger and Kaitlyn Wuebkers each added four points, with Wuebkers recording nine rebounds and five assists and Ripplinger picking up five steals.

Upsala plays at Browerville, Thursday.
