Boys Basketball: Lubbers nets 17, but Alexandria turns away Flyers

Junior Spencer Lubbers posted 17 points and nine rebounds, but Alexandria handed the visiting Flyers a 72-63 setback, Tuesday.

Seniors Tom Smith and Matt Valentine scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, to also reach double figures.

Junior Josh Wenzel (6), sophomore Troy Scott (5), senior Grant Bell (4) and juniors Collin Gradin (2) and Jake Scott (2) also scored.

Bell added a team-high seven assists.

Little Falls will look to get back on track with a home game against Zimmerman, Friday.

The Flyers won an offensive shootout 105-85 against the Thunder, Dec. 13.
