Glen LeBlanc, 50

Glen H. LeBlanc, a resident of rural Pierz, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman. Burial was held in St. Rita’s Parish Cemetery in Hillman.

Glen was born Feb. 23, 1961, in Little Falls to Agnes and the late Clinton LeBlanc. He attended school in Pierz and graduated from Pierz Healy High School with the Class of 1979. Glen worked as a truck driver for many years at various trucking companies, mostly servicing the Minnesota region. He was united in marriage to Barb Kemetz, April 18, 1992, and to this marriage their daughter Katie was born. Glen enjoyed the great outdoors, especially watching birds and tending to his beautiful garden. He also enjoyed helping his mother tie quilts. Glen was actively involved as a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman, helping with many church activities and was a faithful usher. He enjoyed his time spent with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them.

Glen is survived by daughter, Katie LeBlanc of Pierz; mother, Agnes ‘Tootie’ LeBlanc of Pierz; brothers, Ken (Linda) LeBlanc of Pierz, MN, Dale LeBlanc of Pierz and Jeff (DeAnne) LeBlanc of Pierz; sisters, Kathy (Rick) Stachovich of Foley and Susie (Mike) Dehler of Pierz; special friend, Barb LeBlanc of Pierz and many nieces and nephews.

Glen is preceded in death by father, Clinton LeBlanc in 2002 and brother, Richie LeBlanc in 2009.
