Girls Basketball: Little Falls dominates first half to cruise past Milaca

The Little Falls girls basketball team absolutely dominated the first half of Thursday’s home game against Milaca, leading to a 65-39 win.

The Little Falls defense overwhelmed the Wolves to take a 38-11 lead into halftime before cruising to the win.

Senior Whitney Weisz controlled the paint throughout the game, scoring 16 points and pulling down 11 rebounds to record a double-double, while adding four assists and four blocks.

Junior Jamie Jenks accumulated 14 points and senior Mariah Burns followed in double figures with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Senior Annie Ploof scored five points and five assists, while senior Makayla Jorgensen (4), sophomores Jennifer Ronning (3) and Gabby Nouis (2) and junior Amber Hines (2) rounded out the scoring.

Little Falls plays at Foley, Thursday.
