LFCHS DECA students qualify for state competition
Fourteen members of the Little Falls Community High School (LFCHS) DECA chapter competed at the District competition Wednesday, Feb. 1, in St. Cloud; 13 advanced to the State Career Development Conference in Minneapolis, March 4 – 6.
Advancing to state competition this year in various categories include Whitney Evans, Darik Anderson, Lacey Schmidt, Ingrid Floersheim, Marie Veillette, Emma Keehr, Amanda Evans, Emily Stark, Tristen Zimmerman, Nick Anderson, Mark Anez, Jacob Freitag, and Tasha Schaffer.
DECA is a student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools through the world.
The national competition will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
