Six alumni were inducted into the Little Falls Flyers Hall of Fame, Jan. 28, during a ceremony at the high school.
Joining the Hall were Katie Brenny, Roger Fregin, Sherwin Goodrich, Leo Meyer, Dawn (Hochhalter) Michaud and Tom Poliseno.
Brenny, a 1998 graduate, qualified for the state tournament in each of her six seasons, winning the state championship her senior season.
Fregin, a 1979 graduate, was chosen for the all-state baseball team and was also a part of the state championship team as a senior.
Goodrich was an English teacher from 1973-2006 and coached track, football and girls swimming from 1973-2008. He coached athletes to more than 60 qualifications for the state track and field meet and to the 1989 true team championship.
Meyer, a 1945 graduate, earned three varsity football letters and was part of the 1944 undefeated team. As a senior, he was named to the all-state first team.
Michaud, a 1992 graduate, participated in the state gymnastics meet four times and had the record in every event when she graduated. She also earned four varsity track and field letters and still holds the current record with the 800-meter relay team from 1990.
Poliseno, a 1977 graduate, earned four varsity letters in cross country and track and field. He placed fifth at state in cross country and second in the mile run in track during his career, earning all-state honors in both sports.
