The Brainerd-Little Falls girls hockey team was staring at a 3-2 deficit with less than two minutes to play in its regular season finale against Fergus Falls, Monday.
In the span of 43 seconds, the Flying Warriors turned that one-goal deficit into a one-goal lead to stun the visiting Otters 4-3.
Senior Zoe Wolhart netted her second goal of the game with 1:30 remaining to tie the score.
Then, instead of settling for overtime, junior Emily Stark buried the game-winner with 47 seconds to go.
Stark also scored a shorthanded goal midway through the second period.
Senior Jodi Bertrand stopped 26 shots to earn the victory in net.
The Flying Warriors open Section 8AA play against top-seeded North Wright County at Monticello, Saturday.
