Girls Basketball: Big three lift Upsala over Holdingford

The dominant trio of senior Kimmy Mrozek and juniors Aimee Pelzer and Tracy Herzog once again led the way for the Upsala girls basketball team, Thursday.

Mrozek scored 27 points, Pelzer added 22 while dishing out 10 assists and Herzog had 19 points and 10 rebounds in an 80-40 win for the Cardinals over visiting Holdingford.

The game was close midway through the first half, with Upsala clinging to a 21-19 lead.

But the Cardinals finished the half on a 25-5 run to cruise to the win.

The Cardinals host Osakis, tonight.
