Gross misdemeanor charges filed

Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf and his staff have filed gross misdemeanor complaints against the following people:

• Roger Lee Backen, 55, Foley — In connection with a Feb. 6 incident, Backen has been charged with driving after cancellation.

• Tristen Allen Kircher, 25, Swanville — In connection with a Jan. 27 incident, Kircher has been charged with endangering a child – situation could cause harm or death.

• Michael Rios, 33, Little Falls — In connection with a Feb. 5 incident, Rios has been charged with domestic assault.

• Daniel Vargas Garcia, 24, Motley — In connection with a Feb. 1 incident, Garcia has been charged with second degree DWI – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substance and one count of driving after revocation.

The court will set their appearance dates.
