Boys Basketball: Weber scores 32, but top-ranked Braham holds off Pierz

The Pierz boys basketball team faced its second top-ranked team of the season, Saturday, playing at Class AA’s No. 1 Braham.

Senior Preston Weber starred with 32 points, but the Bombers held off Pierz 76-62.

Senior Caleb Janson and junior Jess Kasper also provided sparks for the Pioneers with double-doubles.

Janson had 12 points and 11 rebounds and Kasper added 11 points and 10 boards.

Junior Cullin Carter had four points, senior Logan Meyer had two and junior Ben Boser had one.

Pierz hosts Rockford Area tonight.
