Boys Hockey: Stumpf saves 36, but top-ranked Hermantown clips Little Falls 2-0

The Little Falls boys hockey team completed the rigorous end of its regular season, Tuesday, traveling to top-ranked Hermantown.
Junior goaltender Mike Stumpf stuffed 36 of the 38 shots he faced, but the undefeated Hawks were able to escape with a 2-0 win.
The Flyers now head into the postseason with a 16-9 record and the top seed in the Section 6A tournament.
Section quarterfinal action begins Tuesday, with the high seeds serving as hosts.
