The Upsala boys basketball team dropped a close non-conference battle at Crosby-Ironton (C-I), Thursday, falling 67-61.
Juniors Avery Smieja and Eric Frieler led Upsala with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
The Cardinals host Eagle Valley tonight.
