Boys Basketball: Pierz holds Kimball to four first-half points in 61-25 rout

Pierz limited visiting Kimball Area to just four points in the first half of Thursday’s game, building a 31-4 halftime lead en route to a 61-25 win.

Senior Caleb Janson led the effort on both ends of the floor, scoring 17 points and pulling down nine rebounds.

Junior Jess Kasper added 11 points, senior Preston Weber contributed seven and junior Mitch Bednar had six for the Pioneers.

Seniors Logan Meyer and Michael Marshik and junior Cullin Carter each added four.

Pierz hosts top-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Tuesday.
