Funeral services for Aileen were held Saturday, Feb. 25, at St. James Catholic Church in Randall with Fr. Jimmy Joseph officiating. Interment was held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
Aileen was born Feb. 4, 1938, in Harding, to Joseph and Florence (Pelarski) Dembouski. She was married to Mark Prokott Oct. 2, 1961, in Harding. For the last five years she enjoyed life with Gary Duncan. Aileen enjoyed cooking and baking, collecting cookbooks and recipes, playing cards, gardening with Tuffy at her side and especially entertaining. She also loved to go fishing, traveling and spending winters in Texas. Listening and dancing to country and old time music with friends was a real enjoyment for her. Aileen spent many years working in food service at several locations. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Randall.
Aileen is survived by her best friend Gary Duncan of Browerville; children, Pam (Dave) Fetters of Milaca, Lisa (Leann Sobania) Prokott of Harding, Denise Prokott of Milaca and Brenda (Michael) Holdorph of Inver Grove Heights; Aileen’s best friend’s children, Tim (Sue) Duncan of Browerville, Paul Duncan of Inver Grove Heights, Joe (Nancy) Duncan of Browerville, Rich (Julie) Duncan of Kensington and Fred (Becky) Duncan of Browerville, grandchildren, Kaylee Fetters, Kelly Fetters, Alexis Holdorph, Jordan Prokott, Alyssa Duncan, Lindsey Duncan, Laura Duncan, Parker Duncan, Carter Duncan, Andrea Duncan, Max Duncan and Bret Duncan; siblings, Joe “Ski” (Grace) Dembouski of Harding, Genevieve Zimmerman of Randall, Ardell (Larry) Killeaney of Little Falls and Diane Dembouski of Inver Grove Heights.
Aileen is preceded in death by her parents; husband Mark; daughter Laurie and sister Doris Dembouski.
