Nothing beats a ‘snow day’

Snow days for students have been virtually non-existent this school year. However, Tuesday evening’s snowfall had schools calling school off for Wednesday, and several Little Falls students took advantage of both the day off and the snow. While adults were busy plowing, shoveling and blowing snow, Richard and Rebecca Stoner’s kids Travis, MaKenna and Ryley, were out sledding on the hill leading down to Maple Island Park in Little Falls. The Stoners were not the only kids out enjoying the weather. Pictured below are Max, left, and Will trying out the snow skates they got for Christmas. They are the sons of Greg and Heather Jorgensen of Little Falls. Greg said the boys have only used the snow skates in Wisconsin right after getting them as gifts, but this was the first time they were able to use them at home.
