Community & People Residents break out the shovels, snowblowers Published February 29, 2012 at 8:48 am Residents broke out their shovels and snowblowers for one of the first real snowfalls this winter season. Snowplow crews were also out Wednesday morning, as the snow continued to fall to add to the 6 inches already on the ground in Little Falls. Little Falls resident Dan Girtz started on his car before shoveling his sidewalk. Little Falls resident Ian Hamm was busy clearing his sidewalk early Wednesday morning. Little Falls plow crews finished with the main streets in town, before heading onto the side streets. Drivers are urged to use caution behind snowplows, giving them plenty of room.
