Boys Basketball: Upsala doubles up Isle in regular season finale

The Upsala boys basketball team gathered some momentum for the postseason, by doubling up visiting Isle 76-38, Friday.

Seven players piled up at least six points for the Cardinals, led by junior Eric Frieler with 16 and sophomore Christian Pekarek with 13.

Senior Thomas Ripplinger and junior Avery Smieja each reached double figures and grabbed seven rebounds.

Juniors Matt Abeler (7) and Garrett Wolf (7), sophomore Dylan Zimmerman (6) and juniors Andy Nelson (3) and Nick Frieler (2) also scored.
