Township elections and the establishment of operating levies to take place Tuesday

Townships in Morrison County will hold their annual meetings Tuesday. Many will conduct their board member elections and all will establish their annual operating levies, payable in 2013.

Those townships with elections include:

Agram: The annual meeting will be held beginning at 3 p.m. and the polls will be open from 3:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. for the election of one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term.

Belle Prairie: The township elections will be held from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. for one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The annual meeting will follow.

Bellevue: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. The annual meeting will begin at about 8:15 p.m. after the canvassing of votes.

Buckman: The annual meeting begins at 3 p.m. and voting for one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term begins at 5 p.m. The polls will be open until 8 p.m.

Buh: The township elections will be held from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. for one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The annual meeting will begin at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Culdrum: The annual meeting will be held at 1 p.m. and the polls will be open from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. to elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term.

Cushing: The polls will open for the annual election of officers from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Residents will be electing one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The annual meeting will begin following the canvassing of ballots.

Daggett Brook: Polls will be open from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. to elect one supervisor and one clerk. The annual meeting will follow the canvassing of votes.

Darling: The annual meeting will be held at 1 p.m. The polls will be open to elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term immediately following the meeting until 8 p.m.

Elmdale: The polls will be open from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. to elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The annual meeting will follow at about 8:15 p.m.

Granite: The annual meeting begins at 3 p.m. with the election to follow for one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The polls will close at 8 p.m.

Green Prairie: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The polls will be open from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and the annual meeting will follow at about 8:15 p.m.

Lakin: The annual meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and polls will be open from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term.

Leigh: The annual meeting will be held at 3 p.m. to present a resolution authorizing the Town Board to establish township roads. The township elections will follow from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. for one supervisor and one clerk.

Little Falls: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. The annual meeting will follow the closing of the polls.

Motley: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. Polls will be open from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 8:15 p.m.

Parker: The annual meeting will be held at 1 p.m. with the polls opening following the meeting and closing at 8 p.m. The monthly March meeting will follow the canvassing of the ballots.

Pike Creek: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and the annual meeting will begin at about 8:15 p.m. after the Board canvasses the votes.

Platte: The polls will be open from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and the annual meeting will follow at 8:15 p.m. The canvass board will meet following the annual meeting.

Ripley: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. Polls will be open from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. The annual meeting will follow the canvassing of ballots.

Swan River: The annual meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. with the election to follow. The residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The polls close at 8 p.m.

Swanville: Residents will go to the polls from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. to elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. The annual meeting will follow at about 8:30 p.m.

Two Rivers: Residents will elect one supervisor for a three-year term and one clerk for a two-year term. Polls will be open from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and the annual meeting will begin at 8:15 p.m.

Hillman (7 p.m.), Morrill (8 p.m.), Mount Morris (5 p.m.), Pierz (8 p.m.), Pulaski (8:15 p.m.), Richardson (7 p.m.), Rosing (7 p.m.), St. Mathias (7 p.m.) and Scandia Valley (7:30 p.m.) townships will hold annual meetings Tuesday. Elections for these townships will be held in November.
