Flyers gymnasts hold year-end banquet

The Little Falls gymnastics team held its banquet at Rice Creek Kennels and Recreation’s clubhouse March 18. The Little Falls gymnastics team held its year-end banquet at Rice Creek Hunting and Recreation’s clubhouse March 18.

Individual awards were voted on by the team. Most team-minded gymnasts were senior Megan Peterson and Diana Kempenich; most improved vaulter was freshman Chyanne Posterick; most improved on bars was junior Amanda Hanson; most improved on beam was eighth grader Avery Lillemoe; most improved on floor was freshman Suzy Smith; most improved in all-around was eighth grader Sarah Stout; and most valuable gymnast was sophomore Rachelle LeBlanc.

Winning varsity letters were junior Carly Atkinson, sophomores Taylor Axel and Stephanie Cluever, Stout, Kempenich, Hanson and LeBlanc and earning senior letters were Staci Stein and Peterson.
