Tyler Kulus, 25

Tyler Kulus, a resident of Fort Ripley,  passed away  Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at his home in Fort Ripley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN with Chaplain Gregg Valentine officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 10-11 A.M. on Saturday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN.

Tyler was born March 12, 1987 in Little Falls, to Jerry and Susan Kulus. He grew up and attended school in the Little Falls area, graduating from Little Falls Community High School. Tyler worked alongside his brother Russ for several years as well as worked for Cold Stone Creamery in Baxter. He was currently employed with EPI of Brainerd. Tyler was addicted to speed. He holds the world record with NSSR (National Straight Line Speed Racing) in modified snowmobile straight line racing. Tyler also enjoyed four-wheeling, snowboarding and skateboarding. His pride and joy was his 1987 Chevy S-10 pick-up truck. Tyler will be dearly missed by his family and by his multitude of friends he has.

Tyler is survived by parents, Jerry and Susan Kulus of Fort Ripley; brothers, Eric (Tonya Kohler) Kulus of Little Falls and Russ (Rocio) Kulus of Little Falls; nieces and nephews, Josh Kulus, Alicia Kulus-Storkamp, Jessica Kulus-Storkamp, Ethan Kulus and Emily Kulus; grandparents, Clara Kulus of Little Falls and Judy Witt of Little Falls; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tyler was preceded in death by grandparents, Bernard Kulus, Daniel Witt and Shirley Witt.
