DNR trapping course to be held in April

A Department of Natural Resources (DNR) trapping education course will be held for people 11 years old or older April 24, 25 and 26, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Little Falls Community Middle School, Room 206. The instructor will be Jeff Opelia.

DNR law states, “All persons born after Jan. 1, 1990, who have not received a trapping license in a previous license year, may not obtain a trapping license without a trapper education certificate.”

Trapping ethics, laws, animal biology and trapping methods will be covered.
