Tschida found not guilty in rape case

Benjamin Anthony Tschida, 27, Little Falls, had one count of second degree criminal sexual conduct dismissed March 20, and another count of second degree criminal sexual conduct acquitted March 21, in a jury trial.

In an incident June 17, 2011, the Little Falls Police Department received a complaint of an attempted rape.

The victim told police she answered her door and Tschida walked in, saying he needed a place to stay.

According to the criminal complaint, Tschida then grabbed the victim and attempted the rape.

When a friend of Tschida’s stopped by, the attack stopped and he left.
