Baseball: Milaca clips Pierz in final at-bat

The Pierz baseball team rallied out of an early 3-0 hole to take a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning at Milaca, Friday.

But the Pioneers couldn’t overcome seven errors as the Wolves came back for a 6-4 non-conference win.

Senior Logan Meyer went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs and pitched four innings without allowing an earned run for Pierz.

Junior Ben Boser added a hit and a run.

Pierz hosts Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Thursday.
