Softball: Eagle Valley outlasts Royalton in extra innings

Eagle Valley outlasted visiting Royalton in a nine-inning slugfest, Thursday, prevailing 13-12.

Senior Allison Popp and junior Kalee Petron had two doubles and a single and combined to score six runs for Royalton.

Sophomore Jacquline Nichols doubled twice, drove in five and scored three runs.

Royalton hosts Swanville, Tuesday.
