Girls Golf: Pierz finishes fourth at Maple Lake

Senior Anna Poster shot a 47 and freshman Jessica Hawks was one stroke back with a 48 to lead the Pierz girls golf team to fourth place at the Maple Lake Central Minnesota Conference meet, Tuesday.

Senior Beth Woitalla and junior Katie Kowalzek each had a round of 56 to round out the scoring for the Pioneers.

“The greens were fast, giving our players a test,” Pierz head coach Steve Holbrook said.

Pierz plays at Howard Lake, Tuesday.
