He then started a small, family-owned business. Now a business management consultant, Siekman said his experience in working in a large corporation, managing in a medium-sized company, and starting a small business enables him to understand the needs of small business owners and the challenges of growing jobs.

“As a member of the House of Representatives, I will work to support businesses in Minnesota with an environment in which they can successfully grow their businesses and where our citizens can acquire the education they need to obtain competitive, challenging jobs in a changing environment,” said Siekman. “Minnesota should be a state where family values, hard work, and integrity are rewarded in a growing economy.”
