Softball: Anderson, Jenks smack three hits as Little Falls pushes aside Zimmerman

The Little Falls softball team used a four-run fourth inning to power its way to a 7-2 home win over Zimmerman, Friday, in the process remaining unbeaten in Granite Ridge Conference play.

Juniors Chantelle Anderson and Jamie Jenks each collected three of Little Falls’ 10 hits, with Anderson scoring twice and Jenks picking up two RBIs.

Senior Makayla Jorgensen added two hits, senior Kala Bzdok doubled and senior Britian Conley reached base twice and scored a run.

Sophomore Alea Cekalla allowed only one run over five innings to notch the win.
