Swanville scored twice in the first two innings to erase an early deficit and take a 4-3 lead into the fifth against Pillager, Friday.
But the visiting Huskies struck for two runs in each of the final three frames to hold off the Bulldogs 9-5.
Junior Marissa Evans doubled and seniors Molly Jordan and Courtney Sieben and juniors Tiffany Barthel and Abbey Schultz each singled for Swanville offensively.
Senior Lexi Loven went the distance on the mound, fanning four.
“Credit Pillager, every time they had runners in scoring position, they came through with a big hit,” Swanville head coach Tom Bzdok said.
