Edmund was united in marriage to Henriette Doucette July 26, 1939, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Belle Prairie. He farmed most of his lifetime in Ripley and Belle Prairie Townships. In 1974, because of health reasons Edmund and Henriette sold the farm and moved to Little Falls. Edmund liked to travel and after his retirement in 1974 he and Henriette traveled to many areas in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. There were not too many sights and attractions that they missed in their travels. Edmund was always a farmer at heart and liked to drive in the country to see the progress of the area farms. He enjoyed seeing the new buildings, machinery, and especially the crops. He always had a large garden and yard which he loved tending to when he was able. Edmund was an avid card player and enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always enjoyed whenever they came to visit him. Edmund was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie.
