No one seriously injured in two-car accident in Swan River Township

This morning (Tuesday, May 1), no one was seriously injured when a Chevy Impala broadsided a Geo Metro, when the Geo’s driver apparently did not stop at an intersection.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s report said that about 9:05 a.m., 16-year-old Karen Schneider of Little Falls, was westbound on 90th Street and failed to stop at the intersection of 90th Avenue in Swan River Township. Schneider was broadsided by a Chevy Impala driven by Susan Holtz of Little Falls, who was southbound on 90th Street.

Schneider’s vehicle rolled into the ditch. Holtz’s vehicle also came to rest in the ditch.

Both drivers were checked at the scene by Bowlus Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance personnel. No one was transported by ambulance.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol assisted the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
