Boys Golf: Herold shoots 43, Meyer and Woitalla follow with 46s at Maple Lake

Pierz finished in sixth place in Tuesday’s tightly contested Maple Lake Central Minnesota Conference meet, with the top six teams separated by only 11 strokes.

Junior Dustin Herold carded a 43 and senior Michael Meyer and sophomore Evan Woitalla each followed right behind with rounds of 46 to guide the Pioneers.

Sophomore Matt Athman capped the scoring with a 51, trailed closely by senior Kyle Fuhrman (52) and freshman Ethan Lochner (54).
