Junior Dustin Herold continued his run of strong play, tying for the top spot at Friday’s Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (LPGE) Invite with a round of 81.
The score led the Pioneers to a fourth-place finish out of eight teams at the 18-hole event.
Pierz then grouped its next three scorers within two strokes of one another, with senior Kyle Fuhrman firing a 97, sophomore Evan Woitalla carding a 98 and senior Michael Meyer shooting a 99.
Sophomore Matt Athman (109) and freshman Josh Rocheleau (117) rounded out Pierz’ line-up.
