Trailing 8-5 heading into the seventh inning, Royalton put together a three-run rally to tie the score at Pillager, Friday.

Junior Kalee Petron was hit by a pitch and came around to score on a passed ball to close the gap to 8-6, then senior Kelsey Petron followed a pair of walks with a game-tying double down the right-field line.

But the Huskies kept the Royals from taking the lead and came back with a run in the bottom of the inning to eke out a 9-8 win.

Senior Allison Popp went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for Royalton and freshman Haley Olson and Kelsey Petron also collected hits.

Royalton plays at Ogilvie, Thursday.
